XIV Timeline

ARR < 12 months >

HW < 18 months >

StB < 22 months >

Azim Steppe

Dhoro was chosen to represent as the Mol’s khaan (?) and Sariel helped fight alongside.

ShB < 12 months for Dhoro and 18 months for Sariel on the First, 3 months on the Source >

Lakeland

Dhoro was the one to hear Ardbert’s voice and see his ghost. Sariel absorbed the lightwarden, Philia.

Il Mheg

Sariel absorbed the lightwarden, King Titania.

Rak’tika Greatwood

Sariel absorbed the lightwarden, Eros.

Amh Araeng

Sariel absorbed the lightwarden, Storge.

Kholusia

Sariel tried to absorb the lightwarden, Innocence, but Dhoro stepped in and tried doing so himself and failed. Between the two, they split the aether 75/25 Sariel/Dhoro.

Tempest

Dhoro and Sariel both dealt the final blow to Hades in order to release the excess astral aether within them. Dhoro took Ardbert’s axe and drove it through while Sariel cast a massively destructive spell to do the same.

EW < 10 months>

Garlemald

In the quest In From the Cold, Dhoro was the one body snatched by Zenos. G’raha easily determined that it wasn’t him and advised Alisaie and potentially the others to stand back.

Elpis

Both Sariel and Dhoro were present, which is what clued in Venat about Sariel’s initial importance when the Tenth shard was ‘rejoined’.

Ultima Thule

During the fight with Endsinger, Dhoro endured with a tank LB3, which left him in poor condition. Sariel dealt a final LB3 blow to the Endsinger at the end, which she overdid and almost killed herself in casting. Dhoro was the one who sent everyone back to the ship and fought Zenos on his own, almost dying himself.

When all of the Scions were brought back after sacrificing themselves to form Ultima Thule, Ysayle was also plucked from the aetherial sea and brought back.

DT < 11 months >

Tuliyollal < 1 month >

Estinien was informed of Sariel’s plans to head to Tural, thus he went ahead and helped her secure lodging and made some plans at every stop ahead. In a way, this is their honeymoon vacation since they got married at the end of the events of Endwalker. They planned to have some time together to enjoy the culture and sights on each stop along the way. Estinien left each area ahead of Sariel. Sariel had gotten pregnant at this point but they were unawares.

Sariel is the adventurer who takes on the role quests, helping recover cultural artifacts to return to their original homes. Estinien assists her in these quests, as they love to ‘treasure hunt’ with one another. It became another exciting part of their Turali expedition.

Kozama’uka < 1 month >

Urqopacha < 1 month >

Yak T’el < 1 month >

Estinien and Sariel learn about their pregnancy at the end of their journey here and stay a little longer to get their results.

Shaaloani < 2.5 weeks > -1 week for Sariel + Estinien

Sariel and Estinien arrive a little later than the main party. Because Heritage Found crash lands on the Source, Estinien has genuine concern (he’s very anxious over becoming a father and this info coming at him at the same time as a crisis heightened his worry), Sariel is a part of the team that stays behind and Dhoro is the one to assist with the train. The original plan was to stay for a full month like the rest of their travels, but the sudden event drew their attention elsewhere.

Heritage Found/Solution 9 < 6 months 2 weeks altogether with post-patch >

When the Arcadian takes the main stage within the story, it is Dhoro who takes on the challenge. He and another Warrior of Light, Salem, fight as a tag team duo who refuse to use feral souls to fight.

Sariel gave birth to Azahma during a visit back to Tural before the final events of DT and discovering the key.

Living Memory < single days at a time, making up about 1 week to the total of the 6 months 2 weeks figure >

After 7.0 and discovering the key, Sariel takes a back seat, studying the chalice bearing Azem’s symbol. She keeps it safe while Dhoro and Vi, to a small part, take the forefront. Dhoro is the one who delivers the key to Sariel after recovering it. She’s studying it alongside Y’shtola, Shale, and Vivianite on occasion.

In 7.3, when people go out to patrol with Geode, Krile, and Sphene, it is Vivianite who accompanies them. Sariel takes a back seat due to caring for Azahma. Dhoro is alongside G’raha at the time. Vivianite is there when Geode is murdered and drained to dust. Calyx was highly disappointed when it was Vivianite who arrived, as the cameras did have Sariel in view. He informed her to bring Sariel next time, which he had snarkily said that he knew we would bring her along anyways. Sariel was helping Y’shtola reassess the lay of the land in Living Memory before the rest of the group arrived.

In 7.4, when G’raha, Y’shtola, and Krile head out to Living Memory to then descend onto the surface below, onto the Ninth itself, it is Vivianite and Dhoro who accompany the rest of the crew. Vi and Dhoro faced the Doomtrain, saving Treno. Then when 7.5 occurred, Sariel was the most trusted source to get through to the voidsent and help quickly. When they had cleared out the Clyteum, Sariel was immediately worried about Thavnair and the large voidgate housed there. She knew that the moon’s voidgate was more pressing so she prioritized there first despite her anxious worries. Y’shtola entrusts Ethos, the key, to Sariel. The final voidsent found in the Clyteum, Malphas, through sparing their life, became a great ally to the Scions. Sariel, in specific, can call upon them due to her strong connection to the void.
